What is worth writing
- An occasion, and where you are actually going
- “A winter wedding, afternoon, and I am not in the wedding party” is a brief we can dress. “More dresses” is not, because a dress for that afternoon and a dress for a Friday are not the same dress.
- A product you want checked
- Name it and we will read the listing properly — the house, the rating, and how many people are actually behind that rating — then say whether it clears the bar on how we choose. Sometimes the answer is that it does not.
- What you came for and did not find
- The gaps we can see are the ones we already know about. If you arrived looking for something and left without it, that is the single most useful thing you can tell us.
Have a question rather than a request? Anything about getting ready — a product that is not working, what to wear somewhere, why something keeps happening to your skin — belongs on ask us, where it gets an answer. This page is for what the shop should hold.
