Plain terms for a small site. If something here is unclear, write to us and we will say it better rather than hide behind it.

What this site is

Liminella is an editorial shop guide. We choose products, explain why we chose them, and link to Amazon so you can buy them. We do not hold stock, we do not take payment, we do not ship anything and we are not party to your purchase. Every transaction is between you and the retailer.

We earn a commission

We participate in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. When you follow a link from here and buy something, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. It does not change what you pay and it does not decide what we recommend — the rules we use to pick products are written out on how we choose, and the commercial relationship is set out in full on the affiliate disclosure.

Prices and availability

We never quote a price. Prices and stock change hourly on Amazon and anything we printed here would be wrong by the time you read it, so we link rather than quote. The price you see at checkout is the price, and it is Amazon's, not ours.

What we can and cannot promise

Everything here is our honest opinion, given in good faith and based on published product information, manufacturer specifications and customer ratings. We do not test products in a laboratory and we say so wherever it matters. Nothing on this site is medical, dermatological or professional advice.

Skincare and cosmetics behave differently on different people. If you have a known allergy or a skin condition, patch-test anything new and speak to a pharmacist or doctor rather than to a website. We cannot be responsible for how a product suits you.

Links away from here

Once you follow a link out, you are on someone else's site under someone else's terms. We do not control Amazon's listings, their sellers, their delivery or their returns, and we cannot resolve a problem with an order. Amazon's customer service can.

Our words and pictures

The writing, the illustrations and the page designs on this site are ours. Quote us with a link and we are glad; copy a page wholesale and we are not. Product photographs belong to the manufacturers who took them and are used to show you what a product looks like.

What you send us

If you use the feedback form or write to us, we read it and we may act on it — including using an idea to decide what to cover next. Do not send anything confidential through a form on a website. What we do with the message itself is described in the privacy note.

Changes

This is a young site and it changes often. When these terms change, the date below changes with them. We will not pretend an old version said something it did not.
